I know what it’s like to try and find direction.

For a long time, I did what many high-achieving people do: I followed the path in front of me. I focused on checking the right boxes, moving forward quickly, and doing what I was “supposed” to do—without pausing to ask whether my effort was actually aligned with what mattered most.

I wasn’t lacking motivation or ambition. What I lacked was a framework for making intentional decisions about where to invest my time, energy, and risk.

That realization changed everything.

I began to notice that the people who created the most meaningful opportunities weren’t necessarily the most talented or the most credentialed. They were the ones who were clear about their priorities, prepared deliberately for high-stakes moments, and understood how to increase the probability that their actions would compound over time.

That insight became the foundation of my work.

Hi, I’m Sonali Ratnasinghe. My work centers on helping people slow down just enough to make more intentional choices, so they can move forward with focus, confidence, and momentum in complex environments.

Most people aren’t short on ambition or effort. They’re navigating too many options, too much noise, and too little clarity about what actually deserves their attention.

I’ve seen this play out across classrooms, boardrooms, and community spaces. Capable people move quickly, say yes often, and stay busy—without always feeling grounded in why or where their effort is leading.

What draws me to this work is that moment when someone pauses long enough to ask better questions: What matters here? What’s worth preparing for? What’s the next right move—not the next busy one? How do I create so much value, nobody can say no?

The question I like to ask myself is one from Mary Oliver’s Summer Day: “What will you do with your one wild and precious life?”

MY MOTTO IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE

“Leadership isn’t about POTENTIAL, it’s about READINESS”
